Many times patients are told they need to lose weight or that they have developed a disease that may need diet as an intervention. Our nutritional assessment and counseling service will provide patients with the nutritional therapy needed to meet their goals. Our Registered Dietitians provide detailed assessments based on dietary recalls, self-reported intake, physical activity level/participation, medical history, laboratory values and anthropometrics. The dietitian will provide follow-up sessions as indicated.
Did you know that obesity is associated with many of the leading causes of death in the United States, including heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes? Many people have the power to prevent or delay this from occurring. Our Nutrition and Fitness Program provides a collaboration of a comprehensive meal plan and a structured, individualized fitness plan put together by a personal trainer and/or dietitian. The goal of the program is to focus on the importance of making appropriate food choices and increasing physical activity to develop an overall healthier lifestyle.
Confused about what to cook? Our Registered Dietitian will develop comprehensive nutrition plan based on the client’s weight, height, caloric, and macronutrient needs.
Weight Loss & Diabetes Groups are available to provide clients and/or members of the community with the support and comfort they need. Educational workshops are also available.
